Illustration Friday: Robot

This Robomonkey is totally inspired by the Monkey vs. Robot short video I saw at a Washington Psychotronic Film Society viewing a few years ago. The movie I went to see was titled 'Robo Vampire' (I think) and all I remember is it lasted way too long and had no ending. Monkey vs. Robot, however, was spectacular.

My illustrated RoboMonkey plays my Monkey vs. Robot VHS tape over and over and over again.

You can download the video and watch it over and over again if you click on 'Monkey vs. Robot' at this link.

Robomonkey was painted in watercolor and ink on
2.75"x3.75" amalfi cotton rag paper.

Oh I love your robomonkey. If he plays the film enough times, will it suddenly become a Shakespeare play? Or would you need 100 monkeys playing that film over and over to make it happen??

I actually wonder about things like this, speaking of psychotropic...happy weekend!
